The Annie E. Casey Foundation
Founded in 1948, the primary mission of the Annie E. Casey Foundation is to foster public policies, human-service reforms, and community supports that more effectively meet the needs of today’s vulnerable children and families. In pursuit of this goal, the Foundation makes grants that help states, cities, and neighborhoods fashion more innovative, cost-effective responses to these needs. We thank Annie E. Casey for their support but acknowledge that the findings and conclusions represented in our reports are those of North Dakota KIDS COUNT alone, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Foundation.

North Dakota State Data Center
The mission of the North Dakota State Data Center (NDSDC) is to provide objective socio-economic analysis and to support informed decisions in areas of resource allocation, business management, and public policy for people of North Dakota and beyond. The NDSDC responds to requests, conducts research, compiles information, and disseminates research findings to meet the demographic and economic needs of North Dakota. We thank the NDSDC and its director, Dr. Richard Rathge, for its generous support of our work.

WHO WE ARE

North Dakota KIDS COUNT is part of KIDS COUNT, a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children, sponsored by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Our mission is to provide accurate, current data on child-well-being in order to inform local and state discussions about how to secure better futures for all of North Dakota’s children. North Dakota KIDS COUNT also is supported by the North Dakota State Data Center at North Dakota State University, where we are housed.
