The North Dakota KIDS COUNT Fact Book provides data on children’s well-being with regard to over 100 indicators in a 3-page profile for counties, regions, and the state. Individual county and regional profiles can be accessed on the Data page. County and state-level trend data are also included in the national KIDS COUNT Data Center: Data By State. However, data for North Dakota's 8 planning regions are only available in the Fact Book. This annual publication is available online only (previous years are available upon request).
This annual publication, first published in 2011, provides an up-to-date, comprehensive review of child well-being in North Dakota at the state level of geography. Many indicators are not readily available at the county-level of geography and are therefore not included in the annual North Dakota KIDS COUNT Fact Book. Thus, the Statewide Profile provides an opportunity to present state-level data on a much wider variety of child-related topics – in addition to all of the indicators presented in the Fact Book.
This publication series is a brief report featuring county-specific data on various topics of child well-being.
